Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACK (JOHN) NATURKACH With great sadness we announce the passing of our brother, uncle and friend who passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital October 2, 2010. Jack was predeceased by his parents Tillie and Peter, wife Micky (Alice), sisters Nettie and Wilma, brothers Billy, Nick and Mike. He is survived by sisters Annie, Mary and Dorothy and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was born in Sundown, Manitoba July 4, 1922. He left the farm to join the Army in 1942. During his service overseas, he met the love of his life Micky (Alice) in England. They married February 10, 1945 in Guildford, England. Jack and Micky settled in Winnipeg and made a home for themselves in Fort Garry. Their home and their hearts were always open to many neighbours, friends and family. Even the rabbits in the yard and stray cats were made to feel at home and welcome. Jack was a proud Public Servant with Canada Post for 30 years. He was also a member of the Fort Garry Legion #90 for many years. After his retirement, Jack and Micky spent time travelling Canada and back home to England. In later years he was a dedicated husband, taking care of Micky. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hemodialysis Unit and Dr. Armstrong.
