Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANE STEVENSON (née PAYETTE) Peacefully at the Brandon Hospital on Saturday, October 2, 2010, Mrs. Diane Stevenson of Brandon, formally of Somerset, Manitoba passed away at the age of 66 years. Diane leaves to mourn her daughter Sharon (Don) Beer and son Ross (Leah), grandchildren, Darren Beer (Melissa), Stacy (Mark) Bannister, Dustin Beer, Colten Stevenson, Carter Stevenson and by two great-grandchildren, Shayna and Hannah Bannister. Also left to mourn are her brothers, Emile (Zal), Ralph (Donalda), Celest (Donna), Gerald (Nicole), Wayne (Sandra), Alain and sisters, JoAnn (David) Evans and Elaine (Randy) Pierce, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Diane was predeceased by her husband Blaine in 2000, her father Albert Payette in 1995, her mother Elodie Payette in 2003 and by her brothers Norman in 1985 and Guy in 1975. Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was known for her heart of gold. She took get pride in preparing all the meals, large or small, for every family gathering. Family was of great importance to her and she loved being active in her children and grandchildren's lives. Diane loved to play cards and go camping with her family and friends in Killarney during the summer. Thank you for everything Mom, we love you and you will be missed. Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre-Dame de la Nativité Catholic Church in Somerset, Manitoba on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Miami Cemetery with Father Gabriel Levesque officiating. To Ross, Sharon and families......We were so very shocked and saddened to learn of your Mom's passing. She was a very good friend and a great person. We will miss her.
