Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLENDA FAY HLADY May 3, 1940 - September 30, 2010 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenda Fay Hlady after a brief illness. Glenda's memory will always be cherished by her three daughters: Alexis, Bobbi (Thomas), Cheryl (Perry); three grandchildren: Baron (Nicole), Jayme (Brian), Maria; three great-grandchildren: Kasey, Isaac and Genevieve and two grand-dogs Shapiro and Oakley. She will be forever remembered by her sister Janet, niece Suzanne (Rob), nephew Rick (Donna) and their families. Glenda is also survived by her companion Bob whom she spent her free time with over the last 15 years. Her bubbly personality and bright smile will also be missed by her relatives and many friends that she made through the years. She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Anne, stepfather Albert, brother Robert, brother-in-law Howard as well as her daughters' father, Donald. A special thank-you to everyone at the Riverbend Retirement Residence, whom she considered part of the family, for all of the support and care shown. We would also like to thank the staff at the Grey Nun's Hospital for their compassionate care of Mom during this short but difficult time. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 7508 - 29 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local S.P.C.A.
