Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES SYMINGTON LENNOX April 18, 1921 September 27, 2010 Son of the late Robert and Mary Lennox of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his wife Charlotte (2006) and daughter Sheena (2007). He is survived by his son-in-law, Gordon Filewych and his nephews, Robert (Lynda) and Gordon (Sylvia) Askew and their families. Charlie grew up in St. James, served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War as a Navigator. He spent most of his adult life in Toronto and worked for many years as the Dean of Men at Devonshire House, University of Toronto. He had many dear friends and colleagues in Toronto and it was there that he met the love of his life Charlotte. Soon after Sheena arrived in their life, they purchased property in Cape Breton and joyously spent every summer there. Treasured memories of Jersey Cove and his friends from there sustained him to the end. We wish to thank our relatives and friends from far and wide and are profoundly grateful for your support and comfort these past few months. We deeply appreciate the special care Charles received from the staff at Deer Lodge Centre Tower 7 in Winnipeg. A family interment will take place at Hilldale Cemetery near Canning, NS and a memorial service is planned for Cape Breton in the New Year. Donations to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, or a charitable organization of your choice would be appreciated.

He was an incredible man. Gentle soul. Verrrry patienct with us 60s students. I still think of him, Miss Beck, Harry Brown Mr Felsten-Pierce. They all helped me and others [I'm sure] to develop into men. They allowed us our stupid behaviour, water fights and Pig Nights etc I still dream about my days in residence to this day God Bless him and his family Peppy Mocko BSc Phm East House...Beast House 1966-1971 - Posted by: Peppy Mocko (student 1966 to 1971 East House Devonshire) on: Jun 03, 2013
