FRANCES MAY COOK September 13, 1935 - October 4, 2010 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister, and friend, Frances May Cook of Grand Rapids, Manitoba. The family would like to thank the staff at the Grand Rapids Nursing Station, the Misipawistik Cree Nation Home Care Program, St. Anthony's Hospital and the St. Boniface Hospital for the care they provided for our mother during the past few months. We would also like to thank all of the people that came to visit her at home and in the hospital in The Pas and Winnipeg and to the many family and friends for your thoughts and prayers. She was encouraged and comforted by them. The wake service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the residence of Frances Cook in Grand Rapids and Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Peter Beardy Memorial Center. Final viewing will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Grand Rapids Band Hall at 12:00 noon. Church service to follow at St. James Anglican Church and burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery.
