JEAN STETCH Into Thy Hands Lord On Monday, October 4, 2010, after a long struggle, peacefully our much loved mother left this world to be with our God. She is finally at peace and joyfully reunited with her beloved Sartsey Starenkey Joseph (July 24, 2008). Mom was born July 1, 1923 to Peter and Mary (Ilchyshyn) Hutz. She was married to Dad (Joseph) for 65 years and seven months. Mom worked many jobs to help dad support their children. Life was hard, times were tough, but they persevered, making certain the children were fed, cleaned, clothed and cared for. Mother was an awesome cook, baker and all around revolving restaurant server (to family and friends). What a powerful love our parents had for each other. Mother is survived by her children, Garry (LouAnn), Shirley (Ed) Mydlo, Annette Storzuk, Joseph Jr. (Penny), Gail (Glenn) Neufeld, David (Adrianne) and Janet (Glen) Forbes; 14 grandchildren, Theresa, Trevor, Tracy, Tom, Carol, Barbara, Alison, Susan, Christine, David, Michael, Anita, Myles and Evan; 11 great-grandchildren, her sister Joyce Byrka, and nieces, nephews and cousins. Mother was predeceased by her parents, sisters and brothers and son-in-law Bud Storzuk. Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Mom's wishes a private family service will be held at Knysh with interment at Holy Family Cemetery, Rev. Fr. Isidore Dziadzyk officiating. The family wishes to say thank you to Doctors Babick, Connolly and Wilson for their constant care of our mother. We also wish to thank the incredible staff of St. Paul's Unit, 2nd Floor at Holy Family Home. Your love, care, compassion, prayers, kindness and friendship will remain with us forever.
