FRED TOKER February 14, 1919 - October 7, 2010 With heavy hearts the family would like to announce the peaceful passing of Fred Toker on October 7, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 91. Fred leaves to mourn in passing, his loving wife of 69 years, Helen; son Robert (June); daughters Karen, Patricia (Bob) and Candace (Bruce). Papa's precious grandchildren, Trent (Paige), Tamara (Michael), Bryan, Tyler (Kathryn), Blake and Graham; special great-granddaughter, Summer Dawn his butterfly . His siblings include Peter, Mike, Pearl, Mary, Lena, Bill, Nick and Edward (Olive). The family would like to acknowledge the many nieces and nephews that were a large part of Fred's life. Fred was born in Ispas, Alberta. He served in the Army and worked in the War Industry Cordite Plant. In his earlier career Fred was a Welder working on the Trans Canada Pipeline and later become a Structural Engineer. As per Fred's wishes a private family interment will take place. Family and friends are invited to Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, for a gathering and sharing of stories on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. The Family would like to send a special thanks to the caring doctors and staff on 4A, at the Health Sciences Centre.
