MARY G. BOOTH (MACISAAC)

MARY G. BOOTH (nee MACISAAC) Passed away peacefully at Fairhaven Long Term Care Facility in Peterborough, Ontario on September 27, 2010 in her 93rd year. Mary was born in Hermanville, Prince Edward Island on November 14, 1917. She trained as a Registered Nurse in Charlottetown and practiced for most of her career at the Deer Lodge Hospital for veterans in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was also an enthusiastic golfer and was a member of Breezy Bend Country Club in Winnipeg for many years. Mary was predeceased by her husband Arthur. She is survived by her sons Gary (Joanne) and Richard, her grandchildren Tamara (Douglas), Colin (Caroline), Lianne (Mark), Sara and Jennifer, great-grandsons Jacob and William, and her sister Margaret Grabus of Antioch, California, as well as many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held in Winnipeg at a later date. Special thanks to the staff on Westview 5 at Fairhaven for all of the compassion and care shown to Mary.
