JOHN ALEXANDER REID Tragically on October 4, 2010, John Alexander Reid passed away at the age of 51 years. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Bonnie; two daughters Tamara Walstrom and Tannis Fleming (James Clark); son Thomas Fleming; grandchildren Cole Walstrom, Amber Walstrom and James Clark; sister Janet Gaskin (Allan), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was a very passionate and fun loving individual. He was a dedicated and loving husband to his best friend Bonnie for 26 years and cherished his time with her and his family. In his 20 year career as a driver for Purolator he made many friends in his co-workers and customers, including his love for his furry friends, for which he would often show up with dog treats. In more recent years, John developed a passion for healthy living and cycling. In 2010 he became a member of the Manitoba Cycling Association and was more than enthusiastic to participate in the Century Ride. He was proud of his many accomplishments. With his sense of humour and positive attitude John was an inspiration to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family memorial. Flowers are gratefully declined, however memorial contributions in John's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
