SVEA LORRAINE PATTERSON (JACOBSON) We are sad to announce the sudden, yet peaceful passing of Lorraine Patterson at the age of a young 66 years. Lorraine was born on February 5, 1944 in Dryden Ontario. After many exciting youthful experiences she ended in the Toronto area where she proudly pursued schooling in practical nursing. She began her life in Winnipeg shortly thereafter and has called Winnipeg her home ever since. Lorraine has three siblings. Brothers Lawrence, Carl and sister Ann. Her loving spouse, Gary Patterson captured her heart for 40 years. Together they shared three children. Daughters Shauna, Tracy (Sandra) and son Ryan, plus the addition of two beautiful granddaughters Cassandra and Christine. On Saturday October 2, 2010 Lorraine died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Winnipeg. Her youthful spirit will continue to be remembered as she takes a new journey to another place. Lorraine will always be remembered as a strong supportive mother of her children. A dedicated and loving companion to her spouse, a quiet yet attentive friend and a caring person to family and friends.
