Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHERYL ANN GIBBONS Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the age of 65 years. Survived by daughter Dale (Scott) Clark of Kelowna; son Brian (Michelle) of Kelowna; five grandchildren, Jake, Meah, Danica, Ben, Charlie; her father Robert Halstead of Winnipeg; two sisters, Ellen Tower of Winnipeg, Glenda Dales of Edmonton; brother Robert Halstead of Winnipeg. Sadly predeceased by her husband Arthur, her mother Roberta Halstead. Cheryl devoted her life to her family, friends and community. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Lung Association, P.O. Box 34009, Postal Station D, Vancouver, BC V6J 4M2. "Sqeege" and I grew up together in Charleswood where we both attended CCI until grade 12, then we went to work, she at Klady and Sons and me at CAS, on Garry St. We both moved to Kelowna in 1971. She and Art bought a mobile home in OK Mobile Villa and where at this time I am currently living with my husband Don and dog Paddy. I miss her terribly.
