W. MURRAY SMITH October 23, 1930 October 1, 2010 Murray's journey in this world ended peacefully on October 1, 2010 at Agapé Hospice after a two-year tussle with cancer. He was just shy of his 80th birthday. Murray leaves seven children/stepchildren Jodee, Marla, Blake, Cathie, Paul, Guyle, and Tara six grand-children, one sister (Elizabeth Phillips), a brother (Jack), and a host of friends who will long tell stories about the master story-teller that he was. At Murray's request, there will be a Private Family Memorial and Celebration of his life on October 23, 2010 followed by an Open House Gathering at Evan J. Strong Commemorative Services (5502-2nd Street SW / one block east of Macleod Trail on 53rd Avenue SW), from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with Tributes at 2:30 p.m. All are welcome.
