Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJORGE BICUDO March 9, 1925- October 7, 2010 Peacefully on Thursday, October 7, 2010, Jorge Bicudo passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 85 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maria; daughter Helen and her son Patrick, son George, daughter Elizabeth and her husband Joe Leuzzi and their children, Gianfranco and Michele. Jorge was born in the town of Maia in Sao Miguel, Azores Portugal. He came to Canada in 1954. After working with the CPR from the East to West Coast of Canada. He came to Winnipeg in 1958 to start working at ConForce. Jorge married Maria in 1959 and raised three children. He very much enjoyed being in the company of his three grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Reverend Father Sam Argenziano officiating. Viewing will be held one half hour prior to the Mass. Entombment in Assumption Cemetery, Chapel Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Reception to follow the Mass in the Holy Rosary Church Hall. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion. Contributions may be made if friends so desire, to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7. I just noticed this and am sad that he passed away and that seven years later I just noticed. I was looking at some home videos with him and the rest of the family and thought I could search for him and his family since it has been awhile since we I had any contact with him and his family and came across this.
