NORAH WINNIFRED WELLS (PETLEY) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Norah, at Beacon Hill Lodge on October 7, 2010. She is predeceased by her husband Bill; her eldest son Bill; son-in-law Don Armishaw; sister Louise Rafferty; and brother Ron Petley. Norah is survived by her son Ron (Anolda); daughter Marsha (Nash), many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Norah married her longtime sweetheart on November 12, 1945 just after he returned from the Second World War. Norah was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a lifetime member of the Catholic Women's League, as well as an avid Bridge player. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, October 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Dr. Services will be officiated by Father Leo Couture. Cremation and interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
