He was born May 7, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Jean and Suzanne Grymonpré. Richard is survived by Susan, his wife of 39 years; his son, David and daughter-in-law Annette; his daughter Andrea; and his son, Kris. A memorial service will be Saturday, October 16 starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, with a reception to follow. Mr. Grymonpre was my best teacher at DMCI. He taught French classes and was very human, even joking around with the students in off moments.
