NEIL J. MACDONALD 1935 - 2010 Neil passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2010 with his niece Carrie by his side. Born to Isabell and John A. MacDonald at Glen Robertson, ON, Glengarry County on May 30, 1935. He moved from Cornwall, ON in 1969 and worked at Canada Post until 1990 when he took early retirement. He loved writing songs, poetry or stories. He was an avid outdoor person and loved dogs especially black Labs. Neil is loved and will be missed by his sister Margaret and family. He is survived by his sister Margaret and Gerald Hart and their family, Shannon, Lyle and Kate Handfield, James, Sandy, Iain and Krissy, Nik and their son Hayden, Carolyn (Carrie) Allan and Kyle, Michael, Carol and Tyson and Rory, Glenda and Eric. He was predeceased by his parents, John A. and Isabell MacDonald and grand-nephew Owen Hart. Funeral service will be on October 16, 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Mary's Rd. Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Avenue would be appreciated.
