Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR LOUISE WALKER Our lives changed on Monday, October 11, 2010 when Eleanor died at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 82 years. Eleanor's greatest love was her family. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her children Cathy Kovacs (Mike), John Walker (Flo), Susan Paul (Gary), David Walker, Jim Walker (Donna), Kate Manchur, (Gene); grandchildren Cathy Jr., Mike Jr. (Stacey), Julie Kovacs, Cindy (Leonard) Ostrom, Patsy (Jamie) Berthelette, Dustin (Sarah) Walker, Shauna (Randy) Gervais, Mason Walker, Karl and Leah Manchur; great-grandchildren Emily and Carson Kovacs, Walker Berthelette, Nicholas and Liam Gervais as well as sisters Alice (Wilson), Lulu (Watt); brothers Jim, and Donald. She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey; parents David and Rose Campbell; brothers Albert, John and Robert. Mom was born in Swan Lake, MB December 24, 1927 and married Harvey Alexander Walker on June 4, 1949. She loved to garden, bake, play crib, Yahtzee and other board games with her grandchildren. She was a regular member of the United Church as well as the Pine Falls Leisure Club and the Legion. Eleanor was a dedicated volunteer of the U.C.W. and a well loved member of the community. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. On Thursday, October 14, 2010 a Celebration of Eleanor's Life will be held in the Pine Falls United Church, 5 Walnut Street, Pine Falls, MB at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or a charity of choice.
