DENIS HORACE JOSEPH PROULX October 21, 1956 - October 10, 2010 Winnipeg MB, age 53 Due to an accidental death Denis Proulx's family has been forced to celebrate his life far too early. Leaving his wife, the love of his life for 35 years, Valerie Proulx (Sinclair) and their two children, daughter Lindsey Coyle (Proulx) husband Dan and his only grandson Brody; and son Ryan Proulx and partner Samantha. Denis was born in St. Anne, MB, predeceased by both parents Annette (Audette) and Horace Proulx. He is survived by all his siblings, Doris McPake (Proulx), partner Mike and son Gordy; Suzanne Feenstra (Proulx), husband Rick and children Marcel and partner Monica, Clayton and Jordan; Mona Head (Proulx) and her children Gary, Jocelyn and her children Aiden and Blake and Mona's youngest two Mike and Jason; Nancy Holden (Proulx), husband Blair, and their two daughters Brittney and Jenna. Denis was forever grateful that he found a new friendship with Jim Brule and his wife Cathy and their children Stephanie, Cheyenne and Zachary. As an extremely proficient carpenter, Denis was endeared to all his clients. Everyone that met Denis was absorbed as extended family, and all friends can attest that Denis could be counted on like family. Few souls can look at their life with little to no regrets but Denis always lived and loved for today and because of this his family is comforted by the certainty of his love for them. A memorial service will be held this Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., with reception to follow.
