Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY LEONA HARVIE (nee DUCKLOW) Dorothy suddenly and peacefully passed away on October 11, 2010, at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 86. She will be greatly missed by her children, Darwin (Gloria) Harvie, Roy (Joey) Harvie, and Shannon (Ted) Urban, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Henry Harold Harvie, her son Lawrence Wesley Harvie, grandson Curtis Harvie, parents Joseph and Isabell Ducklow, sisters Eileen Allan and Isabell Meffen. Dorothy was born on April 11, 1924, in Riding Mountain, Manitoba. Dorothy was a caring person, full of wisdom and advice that she would share with everyone. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Victoria Hospital Emergency Department. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to a charity of your choice. A service will be held on Friday, October 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave, with interment and reception to follow. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
