MARY BACHINSKY 1920 - 2010 Peacefully, Mary Bachinsky passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 at the age of 90. Mary was predeceased by her first and dear husband of 30 years, Louis Romanin, and loving husband of 42 years, Stanley as well as her brother Walter. Mary will be sadly missed by her children Mary Lou (Bob) and Randy (Caroline). She will be lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren: Owen, Christa, Caitlin and Christina. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and Stan's children Donald (Susan) and Betty. Mary was born in Transcona and had worked at Birk's and the Canadian Wheat Board. She enjoyed travelling, especially her trips to Barbados and the Bahamas with Stan. Mary was always the happiest when she was entertaining and cooking in their beautiful country home for family and friends. She often recalled buying cooking magazines as a teenager rather than fashion magazines. Friends would regularly take a Sunday drive to Anola to visit her and Stan and to enjoy a wonderful meal made with fresh vegetables from their garden. Her life revolved around her family, in particular her grandchildren. She would do anything for them. She would often drive in from Anola to treat her grandchildren to lunch or pick them up to spend a couple of days in the country. Many times we've wanted to tell you this, But never got a chance. You have helped us out in life, and got us to where we are. You were there for us through thick and thin, You never gave up on us and you taught us how to care. From the deepest of our hearts we want to say we love you, And to thank you for being there for us in times of good or bad. The family wishes to thank Jan at Shaftesbury Park and the staff at the Grace Hospital and Tuxedo Villa for their care and support. There will be a private family service. Friends that so desire, may make a donation to a charity of their choice in Mary's name. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
