BETTY OZUK (nee KORNIK) On Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at 4:55 p.m., at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Betty Ozuk passed away with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband John, of 70 years; children Larry (Diane), John (Cindy), and Cheryl; also by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom and dad made their home for the past two and half years at the Middlechurch Home, in West St. Paul. Previous to this they enjoyed many years at Arborg, MB. Mom was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and entertained the hope of the scripture at Acts 24: where it states that there will be a resurrection where all those in the memorial tombs will have the opportunity to come back to a paradise home on earth under perfect conditions (Isiah 65:) We, as the family, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to those at the emergency ward for their care and compassion shown to us at this time. Also to the staff at the Middlechurch Home for their genuine love and caring for all of us now. They have been so supportive and have been like family to mom and dad and the rest of the family, thank you. As per mom's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no memorial service at this time and a private family interment will take place. Flowers are gratefully declined.
