LAURA LAVOIE May 11, 1917 - October 13, 2010 Peacefully, during her sleep on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Laura Lavoie passed away at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home at the age of 93. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Roger (Mae), Alfred, Eileen Sikora, Raymond (Ellen), Alice (Lawrence) Trombo, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, daughter-in-law Helen Lavoie, son-in-law Lawrence Sikora and two grandsons. Prayers will be said on Friday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Notre Dame du Lac Roman Catholic Church, Lac du Bonnet with Rev. Fr. Jose Montepeque presiding. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m., also at the church. Friends may view at prayers on Friday and prior to the service on Saturday. Private interment will take place at a later date. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Lavoie, Neil Lavoie, Grant Sikora, Darlene Palamar, Kevin Trombo and Brett Trombo. Honorary Pallbearer will be Lawrence Trombo. If friends so desire, donations in Mom's memory may be made to the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home, Box 1030, Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba R0E 1A0.
