Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK LAWSON It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the family announces the sudden passing of Frank Lawson on Friday, October 8, 2010. Frank leaves to mourn his sons Jade, and Justin (Camie); his daughter Amber (Ken); his grandchildren Cara, Kurt, Tyler, Maizy, Ashton, Thomas, Amy; brother Keith, and his children's mother Lydia. He was predeceased by his father Thomas; mother Melba, and brother Robert of Long Beach, California. Frank was born on July 8, 1939 in Moosomin, Saskatchewan and moved to Winnipeg with his family at a young age. Frank's working career was dynamic and varied: National Typewriter, Investors Syndicate, owner/manager of B.G.M. Music, and owner of Mother Truckers Electronics in St. James for 20 years. Frank was an accomplished speaker and the first Canadian to achieve the International level of Toastmasters International. In 1970 he served on the Manitoba Centennial Committee and traveled throughout Manitoba delivering speeches that highlighted Manitoba's rich, and colourful history. His passion for life and unique individual style is best exemplified by his whole-hearted commitment to his artistic endeavours and to the wide and varied friendships he so enjoyed. A celebration of Frank's life will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Western Canada Aviation Museum, Hangar T2 958 Ferry Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to Frank's memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
