LAURINE DARRACOTT It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Laurine Darracott, at the age of 82, at the Victoria General Hospital on October 11, 2010. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Michael in 2003. Laurine is survived by her children, Debbie Fawley (David Hamon) and John Darracott (Diane); grandchildren, Laura Rheault (Chris), Colleen Fawley, Jason, Lee and Nikki Darracott; and her very special great-grandson Jesse; sisters, Ines Westman (Mark) and Grace; and her son-in-law Barry Fawley. Laurine was born in Winnipeg on August 13, 1928 and resided there her entire life. She was a very active member of St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, and always took pride in it. She loved playing tennis and even watching the matches on TV. She was an avid painter and her friends and family were above all the most important to her. She and Michael also enjoyed travelling to many places, but especially Hawaii and their many camping trips. Laurine recently resided at the Seine River Retirement Residence where she made many new friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, 881 Autumnwood Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laurine's memory to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada.
