JAMES (JAMIE) FREDRICK KOTOWICH It is with heavy hearts we announce the tragic passing of Jamie Kotowich on October 13, 2010, one week shy of his 38th birthday. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Tammy (nee Swanson), son Brandon, daughter Alysha, parents Ron and Roberta, twin brother Michael and his wife Kirsten, niece Kaila, nephew Kaden, brother Ronnie and his wife Amanda, nieces Kelly, Jessica and Brooklyn; in-laws Brian and Dorothy Swanson and Sherry and Mike MacVicar, nephew Josh and niece Katelyn; grandparents Murray and Evelyn McAulay; as well as all his aunties, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his Baba, Rose and his Gigi, Bill, his great-grandma McAulay and dearly beloved cousin, Kyle Flett. Jamie had many passions in life but he was most passionate about his hunting companion, son Brandon (B.J.) and his beautiful little dancer, daughter Alysha (Art). He enjoyed car racing, boating, fishing, quading, snowmobiling, hunting with his dad and brothers, and being with family and friends. At the time of his passing Jamie was employed by Manitoba Hydro as an acting charge hand. Jamie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. A celebration of Jamie's life will be held on Thursday, October 21 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Petersfield Community Hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jamie's memory to the Selkirk Junior Rifle Club, 206 Morris Ave., Selkirk R1A 1A8, or to a charity of your choice.
