ROBERT (ROB) ALLAN STENSON It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Rob) Allan Stenson on October 15, 2010, at the age of 44 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Rob passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sue and children, Blaine and Kelli. Also left to mourn his passing are his brother Art Stenson (Linda); sister Karen Grams (Gord); mother-in- law and father-in-law, Bryon and Mary Ann Campbell and many family members, friends and colleagues. Rob was predeceased by his father Sherman Stenson and his mother Laverna (Penny) Stenson. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota St. in Winnipeg. Officiating the service will be Pastor Rick Sauer of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Interment service will follow at Thomson In the Park Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Following the service / interment, a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Caboto Centre, 1055 Wilkes Ave. at 3:30 p.m. In the evening, there will be a Come and Go celebration of Rob's life starting at 6:00 p.m. (location to be announced). There will also be a Memorial Service of Remembrance at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church in Swift Current, SK on Saturday, October 23 at 1:00 p.m. Rob was an extraordinary father, husband, brother, uncle, friend and CEO, who will be sadly missed by all who had the honour of knowing him.   • We are truly saddened by the sudden loss of Rob. I got to know him at the MBA and on a few occasions thereafter, watching him build his business and benefitting from some of his experience.
