Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANN KLASSEN (nee DRIEDGER) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the peacefully passing of our mother Ann Klassen on October 14, 2010 at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 78 years. Ann is predeceased by her husband Edwin in 2002. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Darrell; daughter Brenda (Rad); grandchildren, Keara, R.J., Taneka, Shenicka; sisters, Helen, Katherine (George), Hilda (Ben); brothers, Albert (Rita), Paul (Anne), Walter (Mary), many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Ann was born in Gretna, Manitoba on July 6, 1932. She met Edwin and they were married November 2, 1958 in Altona, Manitoba. They were blessed with two children whom they raised in Winnipeg. Ann stayed home to raise her children and with the love of children she decided to run a home daycare which she did for 25 years. Ann loved to ride the bus to go meet her friends for lunch and go shopping downtown. She quilted blankets for MCC and other organizations. Ann and Edwin loved their outings to Grand Forks and many bus tours to various places. A special thank you to all the staff on the 5th floor north side for taking such good care of our mother. A private family service will be held at a later date with burial at Mennonite Memorial Gardens. We love you and will miss you so very much mom, grandma and sister.
