MARY PALEY (nee HORYSCHUK) October 28, 1923 October 14, 2010 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 86. Mary was born in Arbakka, Manitoba on October 28, 1923. She was the third daughter of William and Anne Horyschuk. She was predeceased by her husband William on September 24, 2009. Left to cherish Mary's memory are her sons, Bill (Brenda), Wayne (Lois), Don (Zina); grandchildren, Nicole, Joshua, Christine (Justin), Brad (Kim) and Christopher, also great-grandson Christian. Mary was a caring and loving person who always put the need of others ahead of her own. Her generosity and love will be cherished and remembered by everyone's lives she touched. The family wishes to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for all the care and attention that they devoted to Mary. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society. MISS ME - BUT LET ME GO When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long, And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take, And each must go alone, It's part of the Master's plan, A step on the road to home. So when you are lonely and sick at heart, Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, Miss me - but let me go. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
