IRENE GISELE LELIEVRE (nee LAVALLEE) On October 16, 2010, our beloved mother, grandmother and wife passed away after a brief illness while in the loving arms of her husband. Irene was born March 12, 1944 and was raised in Lorette, MB. As a Military wife, she was fortunate to live overseas for several years and lived all across Canada. She was a dedicated wife and mother and chose to stay home and take care of her small family. She loved to play Bingo and could beat you any day playing Poker. Everyone that knew Irene was fortunate to share in her amazing sense of humour, and that will dearly be missed. Waiting with open arms to greet Irene on her eternal journey are her mother Camilla Lavallee (nee Jeanson) and her father Donat Lavallee. Left to grieve her passing is her husband of 41 years, Paul, her only child, daughter Danielle (Michael) Aessie and her cherished grandchildren Asia and Pierce. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Denise (Marcel) Prairie and Diane (Maurice) Trudeau, as well as numerous nephews, grand-nephews and nieces. Cremation has taken place and a memorial Mass will be held at Notre Dame de Lorette Catholic Church at 1282 Dawson Rd., Lorette, MB on Thursday, October 21 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the Notre Dame de Lorette Parish Hall. Glen Lawn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Repose en paix Irene, nous t'aimerons toujours et nous t'oublirons jamais.
