WILLIAM (BILL) HILDEBRAND September 1, 1925 - October 17, 2010 Peacefully, at the Morris Hospital on Sunday October 17, 2010 surrounded by his family, Bill Hildebrand, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, was called to his eternal home. He will be forever missed by his beloved wife Susie; his children Midge, Judy (Don), Jerry, Gordon (Val), Allen (Elaine), Elaine (Robert), Bill (Yvette), Randy (Tammy), Pam (John), and Sherry. His love and laughter will also be greatly missed by his 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. Dad is predeceased by his daughter, Linda, his sisters Helen, Mary and Tina, and his brothers Henry and Philip. Dad spent his last 50 years working and raising his family in Morris. His church family provided him with great support, fellowship in faith, and lifelong friendships. Dad enjoyed spending time with his family most of all. Family vacations were a summer ritual. Board and card games provided hours of rousing laughter and camaraderie. The family would like to thank Dr. Woelk and the staff at Boundary Trails for the wonderful care Dad received. We would also like to thank Nurse Heather at the Morris Hospital for her gentle kindness. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Morris Emmanuel Baptist Church. There will be viewing at Morris Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.
