Thank you for your awesome presence, for listening, laughing, loving and teaching. Shine on, Ruthy, shine on, because of you we will never be the same. Ruthy was teaching at Menno Simons College at the time of her passing, her students and fellow staff members join her loving family and friends in mourning her loss. She touched so many lives with her warmth, compassion, intelligence and wisdom. Ruthy is survived by her loving parents, Dr. Jean-Baptiste L. and Rita Charlot, and her brother Jean-Luc, of Miami Florida. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20 at Elim Chapel, 546 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Her funeral will be held in Miami, Florida on Sunday, October 24, 2010.
