LEROY GARRY GABER It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of Leroy Garry Gaber on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, with his loving family by his side. Garry's faith guided him through his long battle with cancer. Garry was predeceased by his Mom and Dad, Lena (nee Bezan) and Peter Gaber (founder of P.J. Gaber and Sons) of Roblin, Manitoba. Garry has left behind his wife of 53 years, Barbary (nee Pooley), son Lee and Norma (nee Hijkoop) Gaber, daughters: Michelle Gaber (John Morrall) all of Roblin, and Shaunene (Trent) Brolund, of Brandon and five grandchildren. Also left to mourn his passing are three brothers: Ken (Marion) Gaber of Roblin, Alan Gaber of Albany, CA, Dean Gaber (Carol Williams) of Roblin; three sisters: Bernice (Eldon) Dimond of Winnipeg, Darlene Gaber of Calgary, Colleen (Bryan) Elder of Roblin, and a large extended family. Garry's Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from Knox United Church, Roblin, MB. Memorial Gifts may be given to Knox United Church, Box 156, Roblin, MB R0L 1P0.
