Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMABLE BECK LENNOX (nee PROUTEN) It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful wife, mother and nana, Mable Lennox of Stony Mountain, on Saturday, October 16, 2010. Mable leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband of 59 years, Bill. Also missing her every day will be her children Sydney and Carl Chihonik, William and Marilyn Lennox, and Alison and Rod Olfert. She leaves her six grandchildren, Johnathon (Courtney) Chihonik, Tiffany (Jim) Barr, Matthew, Jennifer, and Andrew Lennox, and Amber Olfert. Mom also left behind her much loved four-legged furry granddogs . Our beloved Mable was a strong, beautiful and dignified woman who lived an active and outgoing life. She pursued many hobbies and activities throughout her life. Some of her favourite things to do were going out for Chinese food, hot dogs or ribs, and playing card games, reading voraciously, doing many different kinds of crafts, and let's not forget Bingo nights. Though Mom had many health issues for several years, she lived a full life with great zest and enthusiasm. She was up for anything at a moment's notice. Mable was predeceased by her parents Mabel and Sidney Prouten, her three sisters, Edith, Esther and Mary, as well as other extended family. Our family wishes to thank the doctors, hospital staff, and homecare workers who gave such loving care to Mable. As per mom's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. We will love you and miss you forever beloved Mable

13 long years without you. I miss you more than I could ever say. I miss shopping, visiting, playing cards with you and dad, and I miss the little chocolate treats you always had for me. I can picture you in your chair, in the kitchen. Nails beautifully done, scarf on to keep off the chill. You are beautiful and loved and missed.
