ROSS GORDON BRUCE COX April 19, 1940 - October 16, 2010 With heavy hearts and deepest sadness, our beloved one lost his battle with mesothelioma with his wife and daughter by his side, and joined his beloved son Troy in Heaven. Ross grew up in Selkirk, Manitoba where he met his soulmate Bev. They were married on February 11, 1961. He obtained his mechanics certificate in 1962 and became employed with Manitoba Hydro at the Selkirk Steam plant, followed by Fleet Services in Winnipeg. In 1969 the family moved to Gilliam, until 1995 when he retired from Manitoba Hydro after 33 years of service. He and Bev then retired to Gimli. Ross was predeceased by his parents and his much loved son Troy on September 30, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife Bev; very loved daughter Gerri-Lynne Macnamara (Tim); grandchildren, Justin, Devin, Brittany and Sydnie of Regina, Saskatchewan; dear brother David and family of Spokane, Washington, U.S.A.
