PAULA VERA OBERHOLZ Peacefully, in the presence of her family, our beloved mother and grandmother passed away October 15, 2010. Vera came to Canada in 1958 and was extremely grateful for all the opportunities this country offered her. Her passions included gardening, reading, music, creating jewelry and stained glass, and animal welfare. Vera had a very sharp mind, and remained interested in current events. She met the challenges of old age and chronic health issues with great courage and dignity. The family would like to thank the entire staff and volunteers of the Grace Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion. Vera is survived by her daughter Katrin, son Thomas, and her granddaughter Petra (Frank). We released her from this life with love and thankfulness. Life is a journey, travel well Vera. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of her life with family and friends will be held at a later date. NEIL BARDAL INC.
