  • My heart goes out to Liz's family at this difficult time. I only just learned of her passing from inadvertently reading her father's obituary. We worked together through Special Olympics in Stonewall for many years. We are the same age, but I went through the faculty of Phys.Ed at the U of M a couple of years behind her. I will always remember her as a kind and thoughtful person, very committed to her work, the people, and her family. She was fun to be with, and my life has been enriched by knowing her and sharing many good times together. I deeply regret having lost touch these past years since we moved to B.C. I'd like to thank her friends and family for supporting such a wonderful person. I'm sorry that I wasn't there for her two years ago. My sympathy goes out to her family at this difficult time. It is good that she will have her father with her in heaven, waiting for the rest of us. Sincerely, Louise and Lorne Reimer of Salmon Arm, B.C. - Posted by: Louise Reimer (friend) on: Jan 11, 2012
