MARYANNE NATHANIEL In loving memory of Maryanne Nathaniel, who passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in Winnipeg, at the age of 39. She leaves behind her parents, Edward and Doris Nathaniel, brother Virgil, brother Ernie (Lynnette) and nieces Tamara and Kiara. Maryanne was born on December 26, 1970. In her early years, she attended a special needs school, Kirkfield Park School. For the past 17 years, she greatly enjoyed a special needs program at COMSPAN and the daily activities they provided. In spite of days of difficult health, she looked forward to attending this program and we thank the tremendous staff for their love and care. Throughout her entire life, she enjoyed all kinds of music, especially Christian music including traditional gospel music. She also enjoyed piano music played at home by family members. She learned some chords on the piano which she played with her mother. Music gave her a lot of comfort to her life. During her younger years, she also enjoyed the people and services at Agape Chapel. In the last five years, she enjoyed the friendship and outings provided by the DASCH residential program. The caregivers understood her subtle responses and loved her, giving her much joy and allowing her to have new experiences and meet new friends, and we are very grateful to all of them. She was greatly comforted by prayer before bed both at her parents' home and at DASCH. We wish to thank her physicians throughout the years, Dr. Bowman, Dr. Cumming, and Dr. Lang. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. She was a blessing to our family by renewing and strengthening our faith in our Heavenly Father. She is now joyfully with our Lord Jesus Christ, without any of the limitations she experienced during her earthly life. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
