Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE DEMETRIOFF 1918 - 2010 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear father and grandfather on October 22, 2010, at Seven Oaks General Hospital. George is survived by three sons, Gerald, Dennis and Tim, one daughter, Tania, two grandsons, Christopher and Ryan, daughter-in-law Heather, son-in-law Phil Kochan, sisters Ann Hallem and Lee Pajak, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Doris and daughter-in-law Jeannine. George was born in Winnipeg in a house on Notre Dame Avenue on February 24, 1918. He began working at Western Rawhide as a 16 year old, and worked there into his 90s. George served in the army for three years, and was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #43. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. George will be buried in Glen Lawn Cemetery beside his wife Doris. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Seven Oaks General Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice. George, rest in peace. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
