DOROTHY THERESIE HARRISON (KRAMBLE) (HOLLAND) Surrounded with love, our Mother passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Riverview Health Care Centre, at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Harrison (1990); parents, Charles and Barbara Kramble; her sisters, Tenie, Carol and Elsie; brothers, Charlie, Johnny, Willy, Harold and Walter; sisters-in-law, Jean, Margaret and Sylvia, brothers-in-law, Harry, Bill and Robert. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Gail (Warren) Loos, Raymond (Florence) Holland and Maureen Marshall; grandchildren, Lisa (Ryan) Loos, Leslie Loos, Shaun (Kim) Holland, Curtis Marshall and Ryan (Tricia) Marshall; great-grandchildren, Evan, Kennedy, Jillian and Jack Marshall, Cody, Emma, Jane, Luke and Owen Holland; sister Audrey Pierce; sisters-in-law, Vera Kramble and Olive Kramble and many nieces and nephews. Mom was born in Winnipeg on November 5, 1920 to Charles and Barbara Kramble (Single) and grew up in a kind and loving home with her siblings. She was an awesome Mother, Nanie and G-Nanie, always thinking of her family first. She did not know the word NO . If you asked, you received and then some. Mom loved entertaining her family and friends. You never left Mom's home with an empty stomach. Her love of people was undeniable and they loved her in return. She was a woman of profound inner strength who lived life with humour, dignity and passion. She took great pleasure in making people happy. Even in the last few months at Riverview she wanted to make her caregivers job easier and when they asked how she felt, her reply was I'm fine . Our family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Roland Hayward, Dr. Lotocki and the Riverview Health Centre 3 East for their excellent care, special thanks to - Helen, Marlene, Carla, Dana, Ashley, Dancing Barb , Sue and Dr. Prewal. We would also like to express our love and appreciation to her special and dear friends, Ollie Kowaliuk, Ben and Ruth McKinley, Maureen Newsome and Nancy and Clare Silk. Flowers are appreciated, but we would prefer you make a donation in her name to Riverview Health Care Centre or a charity of your choice. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
