ANNE LATYN It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anne Latyn on Monday, October 25, 2010, age 96 years formerly of Arborg, MB, at Poseidon Care Centre. Remaining to forever cherish Anne's memory are her children John (Mary) Latyn of Calgary, AB and Irene (Dennis) Muzyka of Winnipeg; her grandchildren Laura (Gary) Richardson, Stacey (Gordon) Broderick, Corinna Muzyka and Chantal Muzyka; sister Jennie (Ron) Bueckert; sister-in-law Anne (Mark) Mankewich. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her husband Nick, parents Stansilaw and Maria Mankewich and brothers Walter, Leon, Mark and Steve. Anne was born in Dallas, MB on October 4, 1914 to Maria and Stansilaw Mankewich. She married Nick Latyn November 27, 1932. After residing in Hardisty, AB for a few years they moved to Dallas, MB where they farmed. They remained there until they retired and moved to Arborg in 1976. Prayers will be held on Friday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Arborg. Rev. Father Harry Chuckry officiating. Interment will take place at Red Rose Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Anne's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
