KATHERINE ENNS (nee HEPPNER) January 2, 1931 - October 27, 2010 On October 27, 2010, Kathy passed away and went home to be with her Lord and Saviour. She is survived by her loving husband George; children, Roger Enns, Cliff Enns, Cindy and Terry Tysz, Liz Enns and partner Mike Carroll, Paul and Louanne Enns; and grandsons, Clint Enns and Benjamin Tysz. Kathy, and her twin brother Al, were born in Morden, MB, the youngest of 13 children. She moved to Winnipeg as a young adult to live and work near her sister Irene. During this time she met George Enns and they married July 23, 1955. The family lived in Manitoba until 1988 when George and Kathy moved to Vancouver. While missing friends and family from Manitoba, Kathy found more friends through her new church. She enjoyed time with family, coffee with friends and classical music concerts. She also loved gardening and found great joy in the beauty of flowers. During her illness, Kathy found great comfort in Jesus and his love and care. The family would like to express thanks for the care provided by the staff at Burnaby Cancer Clinic and General Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 30 at Willingdon Church, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Gospel Mission.
