LEIGHTON KING It is with profound sadness, the family announces the passing of Leighton King on October 28, 2010 at the age of 64 years. Leighton was predeceased by his father Harvey and his sister Sherry. Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Adele; mother Norma; stepsons Tom and Jason; special aunt Margie and her family and grandson Carson who idolized his Grampa. Leighton worked at Air Canada for many years. After retirement Leighton and Adele enjoyed many summers at the cottage in Winnipeg Beach, winter trips to the Dominican and many, many trips to Grand Forks. But his best times were spent with Carson. The family would like to thank CancerCare Manitoba for all their care and support. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A private family interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leighton's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
