HELEN (FALK) PETERS September 30, 1941 - October 30, 2010 Helen Peters was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her children: Mitch (Christina) Peters, Coralee (Dave) Franks, Angeline (Anthony) Verberne, Scott (Melissa) Peters, Tamara (Steve) Warner and grandchildren: Steven, Danielle, Zoia, Zeboria, Michael, Jade, Bryce and Zachary. She is also survived by her sister Angie Unrau, brother-in-law Nick Friesen, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Tony Peters; her father and mother George and Annie Falk and sisters Mary Falk and Marge Friesen. God's Kingdom has just received the most beautiful earth angel that we have had the pleasure to call Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Mountain View Funeral Home on Friday, November 5, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. If so desired, a memorial tribute may be made in Helen Peters' name directly to Pancreatic Cancer Canada (2446 Bank Street, Suite 656, Ottawa, ON K1V 1A8).
