YEARY MCCLUSKEY
Date of Passing: Oct 31, 2010
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYEARY MCCLUSKEY With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Yeary McCluskey (Bushko) on October 31, 2010. Left to mourn are Wilf, her husband of 66 years; her son Ken and wife Andrea; her daughter Jill and husband Mark; and the joy of her life, her grandchildren, Chris (Kari), Amber (Jason), Kyle (Lisa) and Kelly (James); and great-grandchildren, Jana, Hunter, Kail, Kaddy, Easton and Kye. Mom grew up in the North End of Winnipeg and attended high school with Dad at St. John's Tech. Following graduation, she moved on to the world of employment, first at James Richardson Sons and then at the Greater Winnipeg Gas Company. Mom loved her work, and made many lifelong friends in both settings. Together, Mom and Dad lived life to the fullest, enjoying gardening, crafts, sports, travel (including an around-the-world trip), and, after retirement, wintering for many years in Merida, Mexico. And, most importantly, they built and were the center of an incredibly close and loving family. During her long and fiercely determined battle with cancer, Mom had support from many friends, nieces and nephews, and her sister, Mary Sincarsin of Toronto - the unending phone conversations between those two provided a lifeline of hope. Despite battling his own illness, Dad was able to join the children and grandchildren to be with Mom during her final days. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family gathering and interment will follow. Chapel Lawn 885-9715

Sorry to hear of the passing of Yeary. I had been thinking about her lately and wondered how she was doing. I enjoyed working with her and hearing all about the family as Ken and Jill were growing up. I had no children of my own at that time and found it interesting to hear her children's exploits. - Posted by: Ruth Bittner (Friend from Greater Winnipeg Gas Company) on: Nov 05, 2012
