Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLINE SOWANY On October 31, 2010, at the age of 100 years, Caroline (Carrie) passed away at the Oakview Place Extendicare. She was predeceased by her husband John, daughter Helen, son Victor, granddaughter Lisa, son-in-law Don Daniel, brothers John and Dan and sisters Mary and Helen. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Daniel, son Ed (Pat), five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grand- children and sister Betty Kohut. Carrie was born on June 6, 1910 to Mike and Anna Magis in Hadashville, MB. After her marriage to John they lived mostly in Winnipeg where they shared more than 60 happy years. Caroline was an excellent cook and baker. She liked to sew and knit and made clothes for her children and grandchildren. Her family was the most important thing to her and she loved them all dearly. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with interment to follow. Viewing will take place half hour prior to service.
