MAXIMINO ROMERO FAJARDO Maximino ( Max ) peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 82 years. Max was born in the Philippines on August 17, 1928 and moved to Canada in August, 1984. Max will be remembered by his beloved wife Angelina Kili , children Willie (Rose), Henry (Mel), Beth (Ricky) Pineda, Mel Fajardo, Bert (Ellen), Romy (Charito), Edith (Tony) Eusebio, Ray (Natalie), Val (Myla), Nora (Nestor) Beltran, Riza (Rommel) Barcelo and Gina (Marnie) Cantera, 38 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters Dolores Sundiam and Juanita Cruz, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Max's greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved the outdoors and was passionate about fishing and gardening. Max was a charming, fun-loving and kind-hearted individual. He will be greatly missed and will be forever in our hearts. Lamay (viewing) will be held between 7:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight, with prayers being said at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank sincerely the dedicated and compassionate medical staff of Unit GA4 at the Health Sciences Centre.
