Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD SELLERS (BUD) KING On November 2, 2010 Bud King of Westerose, AB passed away at the age of 86 years. Bud was born in Vancouver, BC on September 23, 1924, the third child of Samuel King and Edith Madeline Sellers King. He was raised in Fort William, ON, educated in Fort William and the University of Toronto and married Deborah Avery in Espanola, ON on July 1, 1947. They settled near Selkirk, Manitoba and raised five children, ensuring each one went on to university. He was raised in the Anglican Church and became an elder. Bud was an athlete, businessman, and community builder. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Deb; children, Avery (Marilyn), Joan (Jim), Deb (David), Jonathan (Loretta), Margaret (Todd); 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret King Kray of California. Bud was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Edith; brother, Richard and sister, Dorsie Rankin. Memorial service will be held at the Ma-Me-O Beach United Church on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Beth Hawley officiating. Cremation with private family interment at the Lakedell Community Cemetery.
