ARNIE DAVIES The light of our family died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 69 years. Arnie was raised in High Prairie, Alberta and came to Winnipeg in 1959. In 1964 he met Linda Hawkes, they were married on December 11, 1965. Together they raised three awesome daughters, Kim (Rick) Wilson, Lisa (Chris) Neilson, and Laura. They were blessed with seven grandchildren, Colton (deceased), Hunter and Rhianna Wilson, Rory Neilson, and Brittany, Meaghan and Troy. He is also survived by siblings Eva, Beth, Allan, Dorothy, Norma and Wayne; as well as Wayne and Barbara Hawkes; numerous nieces and nephews. Arnie made us laugh every day and always made us feel special. We will always miss his Arnieisums . He was a loving, kind, hardworking, always ready to lend a helping hand, Mr. Fix It. Every day he loved going to the gym. Arnie was also a blanketeer for Linus Projects. As per Arnie's wishes we are having a private family service. The family would like to thank Dr. Lucie Hlas for all her special care and the Palliative Care staff at St. Boniface. You are all the most amazing, compassionate people and made Arnie's final days so comfortable. We can never thank you enough. Anna is lost without him. It was a lovely journey with my best friend.
