DORIS OLSON (SMITH) It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Doris Mabel Olson. In the early hours of November 3, 2010 Doris passed away at Concordia Hospital with family by her side at the age of 88 years. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Lesley Olson, and Patricia Mikelash, and daughter-in-law Sandra Olson. Grand-children Timothy Eori (Sandra), Barry Eori (Barb), Warren Olson, Trent Olson, Peter Garn (Wendy), Krista Hummerston (Kelly). Great- grandchildren, Ashley and Jordan Eori, Liam, Katherine and Jenna Eori, Mathew and Tyler Olson, Ethen Garn and Brayden Hummerston and her nephews in England. Doris was predeceased by her parents, husband Donovan Olson, her son Bryan Olson, grandsons Leslie Eori and Grant Olson and brother Tom from England. The family would like to thank the staff at the River East Personal Care Home for taking care of Doris for the last few months of her life, the doctors and staff of Concordia Hospital who kept her comfortable in her final hours. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home 1291 McGillivray Blvd. If friends and family so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street Suite 200 Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
