VIVIAN VALERIE HUDSON August 3, 1926 - October 24, 2010 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Valerie passed away at the Central Okanagan Hospice House with family at her side. Valerie was born and raised in Langley Prairie, BC. There, at the tender age of 18, she met the love of her life, a young Manitoba man named Norman Hudson. Together they returned to Winnipeg where, for 59 years until Norman's passing, they lived, loved and raised their family of 5. Valerie returned to live in BC just this year. Valerie leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Alan and wife Liz; her daughter Linda and husband Bill, and her daughters Amanda and Gina; grandchildren Laura (husband Ryan), Darren, Amie, Stephanie and Sarah and great-grandson Roly. It was her heartbreak to be predeceased by her husband Norman, her son Roland and her grandson Jeremy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Okanagan Hospice House, 2035 Ethel St., Kelowna, BC V1Y 2Z6. The family so appreciates the kindness and care Valerie received there. A celebration of Valerie's life will be held at 41-B. Eric St. on November 13 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. ....and when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance .....(.the Prophet) We will miss you Mom, so much.
